Acting for leading City solicitors, Field Fisher Waterhouse, Newton Perkins advised on this 68,000 sq ft office building in Vine Street.  Following an appeal over the rates under the current 2010 Rating List, it was not possible to reach a negotiated settlement with the Valuation Office Agency. Therefore we recommended referral to the Central London Valuation Tribunal for determination.  

The Tribunal’s determination resulted in a reduction in the RV from £1.26m to £1.03m –from our research this represents one of the largest percentage reductions established under the 2010 List for any appeal in the City of London.
