Office Space Lloyds

Lime Street has been home to the current Lloyd’s of London building since 1986. The unusual looking structure is an example of Bowellism architecture, which maximises the internal space by placing services such as lifts and air ducts on the outside of the building. Its striking design earned the building a Grade I listed status, and international recognition.

Lime Street, Leadenhall Street and Fenchurch Street all offer office space near Lloyd’s of London. Commercial properties in the immediate area are mostly occupied by underwriters and other insurance based firms, but there are other professions such as investment firms and management consultants in the area.

The office space by Lloyd’s is in the heart of the City, boasting a prestigious EC3 postcode, which bestows credibility upon its occupants.

The area is easily reached by visiting clients and commuting employees, thanks to a number of Underground and national railway stations nearby. Tower Hill and Monument are both on the Circle and District lines, while Bank is on the Northern line, Central line, and provides a direct link to Waterloo, which serves the South and South West of England. Liverpool Street station is approximately half a mile away from the office space at Lloyd’s and is the terminal for Greater Anglia railways and the Stansted Express.

Those working in the area benefit from an abundance of local facilities including gyms, retail outlets and coffee shops, with a selection of bars, restaurants and gastropubs available for evening entertainment.
