City Becoming Centre of Learning

City Becoming Centre of Learning

The interest from educational organisations in City office buildings (subject to change of use) continues unabated. In a new deal terms have been agreed for The London School of Business and Finance to lease the 90,000 sq ft offered at Sceptre Court, 40 Tower Hill (opposite the Tower of London) from the Middle Eastern owner.

Following a lease expiry at the School’s 155,000 sq ft building at Carey Street, WC2 in March 2014, Sceptre Court will add to other London centres at 22 Billiter Street, EC3 and Holborn Links Estate, WC1.

The relocation is contingent upon change of use planning consent from Tower Hamlets Council. LSBF will reportedly pay £30 per sq ft in rent and the lease term is 15 years.

Newton Perkins advised INTO/University of East  Anglia in their pre-letting at 100 Middlesex Street, E1.
