Following the recent letting of
both the 2nd and 9th floors, to Preston Turnbull LLP,
Walsingham House is now a fully let building!
This follows the successful
letting of the pt. 1st floor to Port of London Authority, earlier in
the year.
Following an extensive
refurbishment, including a repositioning of the main reception and provision of
2 additional office floors with terraces, Walsingham House was launched
offering a total of c.64,000 sq ft. Following a return to normal working
practices after the covid pandemic, the building was re-marketed with fresh
branding and the added provision of Landlord Cat B floors. As a result, this
Grade A quality building enjoyed a successful leasing campaign securing
occupiers from the insurance, legal, transport and financial sectors.
Joint
agents Newton Perkins and Savills were involved in the initial building design
process, marketing and eventual letting of all available floors, resulting in a
fully let building with rents in the £70’s being achieved on the upper floors.
Newton
Perkins not only represented the Landlord but in addition our acquisitions team
also secured space for a number of key tenants to the building including
Acrisure (now taking c.50,000 sq ft at 40 Leadenhall), Preston Turnbull and
Monument RE.
