According to the City Property Association, the City of London Planning and Transport committee has approved alterations to the planned tower at 22 Bishopsgate, EC2.  

Planning consent was previously granted in June 2016 for a 62 floor building. Construction is underway and the latest alteration has reduced the height of the building to 58 storeys after concerns about aviation safety. 

In other news Beltane Asset Management and Angelo Gordon have appointed constructors after receiving the green light to progress with extending the floor space of their office development at 55 Gresham Street; Standard Life Investments has let the second floor of 100 Cheapside to law firm Goodwin Procter on a 15-year lease; Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has signed a pre-let agreement to locate its new London office at Brookfield Property Partners’ 100 Bishopsgate; AXA Investment Managers has put 20 Gresham on the market for £315m and six city law firms have put office requirements totalling more than 630,000 sq ft under review as the sector battles with business uncertainty.
