Further pre-lets have been agreed at 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3, known as the "Walkie Talkie".
Royal Sun Alliance has taken 4 floors in the 690,000 sq ft development, one of the largest in the City of London, which is due for completion in summer 2014. Land Securities has also agreed to let space to insurance firm Ascot Underwriting.
These lettings follow on from other large pre-lets at the site, including 78,000 sq ft to the KILN Group and 50,000 sq ft to Markel, bringing the total space pre-let or under negotiation to 52%. Land Securities is reported to be delighted with the speed at which letting activity is moving, demonstrating the strength of the market in the heart of the City at present.
